CryoIQ
Skin Tag & Wart Removal
From £49

CryoIQ is a non-invasive treatment used for the removal of various benign skin lesions such as skin tags, moles, warts, and cherry angiomas. This method employs cryotherapy, which involves the application of extreme cold to destroy abnormal or diseased tissue. CryoIQ uses nitrous oxide to rapidly freeze the targeted lesion at an optimal temperature of -89°C, providing the most effective treatment. The lesion will eventually fall off within 10-14 days, allowing healthy skin to replace it. It is crucial that any lesion treated with CryoIQ is first examined and confirmed as benign by a general practitioner (GP) or dermatologist.

WHAT TO EXPECT DURING TREATMENT:

Initial Assessment: The procedure begins with a thorough assessment of the lesion by a healthcare professional to ensure its suitability for cryotherapy.

Application: The CryoIQ device is then applied directly to the skin lesion. The application is quick, typically lasting only a few seconds to a minute, depending on the size and depth of the lesion.

Sensation: Patients may feel a cold sensation and slight discomfort during application, but the process is generally well-tolerated.

Duration of Treatment: The number of treatments required can vary. Some lesions may require multiple sessions, spaced several weeks apart.
